![]() How to Use Gratitude as your Secret Weapon How many times in a day do you come up against this feeling: it’s that sinking feeling like you’ve come up short, or you haven’t quite got enough of ... Maybe for you that’s time, money, and your own abilities. Regardless of the details, the message still remains the same… “not good enough”… “not enough”. Here’s a harsh truth. As long as you keep telling yourself that story, it will remain true. Feeling like there isn’t enough time in the day? You’ll continue to see all the reasons you didn’t get everything done. Feeling like you don’t have enough money? You’ll continue to focus on the fear of not having enough, and those are the moments you’ll remember as reinforcing that belief within yourself. What you focus on, grows. Truly. You are incredibly powerful, and you have the ability to amplify whatever you set your mind on. So are you choosing to see all the missing pieces in your life? Or are you noticing the small nods from the Universe that remind you that you’re taken care of? Practicing gratitude has an amazing way of growing more things for us to be grateful for. As we start to give thanks for all that we already have, we create space to draw more into our lives. So, I challenge you: End every day reflecting on 5 things you are grateful for. It can be as simple as the bed you get to sleep in, or the roof over your head. Once you start to realize how much good you overlook each day, you’ll start to notice more things worthy of appreciation in your life. And from there, you can really start to manifest your dreams and aspirations. “In the hard times and good, moment to moment, there is always something to be grateful for. Begin and end your day with gratitude, because gratitude will seal the holes in your being, and push back the negativities that try so very hard to slip in.” - Sov. Ips.
